Nike Air Force 1s - For my second post I thought I'd talk a bit about the timeless af1 sneakers. Much can be said in a very general sense about these sneakers - how long they've been around, my personal favorites, they're popularity among celebrities and popular culture, among other things - but rather then talking about the normal blah blah I thought I would make a post about some of the Air Force 1 resources online. You might talk with your buddies about the new kicks coming out, but this isn't 1981. You don't have to rely on old fashion media outlets to be up to date with what's coming out next. The internet provides us with a vast and valuable resource for collecting information on our favorite hobbies, if you are an Air Force 1 collector, then you're in luck. There are many websites dedicated to these sneakers where you can not only learn about previous releases, but also upcoming releases and preview what they will look like. Allow me to go through a list of sites I frequent and share my thoughts about them.

Uptowns.net - This website has a bunch of pictures of new air force ones that will be released in the near future, they scower the internet for you and bring you the latest releases before they hit the streets. But the thing I like most about this website is there communitty forum. You won't find a better message board that's complete with knowledgeable members and active posts.

PickYourShoes.com Air Force Ones This website is an online store, the reason I like their website is that they list a wide variety of air force ones from low cut, to mids, to high tops and even women's air force ones. The other reason I like this website is that they also offer a great selection of pictures. Many websites that retail af1s just have one or two pictures and they're an angle of the shoe that doesn't really say much. Well, this website has close up shots of all the boxes and different angles of the shoes. So if you ever want to know what the official colors of a certain release were, go to this website, locate the shoe, then look at the picture of the box.

OmarsKicks.com Air Force Ones - This website, although I'm pretty sure the shoes aren't authentic, they do manage to offer a lot of information about each release. Most of the air force ones listed on this website have a 2-3 sentence description about the shoe. So if you'd like to know a bit more about a air force one that was released, check out this website and check the descriptions.

Nike Air Force Ones - I'm not sure if this website ever updates, but they've got some great pictures of air force ones. The best gallery on this website is the collection of the Chamber of Fear Air Force 1s. But they also have many other pictures of shoes that are really sexy. If you like browsing through pictures and reading other people's opinions like I do, then you'll enjoy this website.

I'll be making more specific posts in the future about specific releases and such, but atleast now you know where I surf to get my information.
